lowpoly well/substance materials

Game-ready model for our indie horror project. The main goal was to reduce the number of polygons and optimize the grid. So I decided to focus on detailed textures.

Lowpoly version was created inside of Maya. Then I made a highpoly version in Zbrush to highlight some nice details and make the model more unique. The next step was baking maps from decimated highpoly in Marmoset Toolbag. Texturing in Substance is my favorite process because every time I learn something new. For the final render I created stage and filled it in with my old mud material from environment tutorial. Also found some assets in Quixel Bridge. For better presentation, I made a simple scene in UE5.

In the final project model was used without a rope. Polycount: 677 verts, 1121 tris
It was quite an enjoyable and educational process.
